Read full description of the books What Had Been and Wasn't Anymore:I have a tendency to colourmark any and all bits I like while reading, especially when the book is digital.. Though, this one is a short story, it now has lots and lots of my most positive choice of colour..
The story has only 13 pages to unfold, and yet it's quite compelling. It's also quite relevant, and very relateable.. (view spoiler)[ If I were in a similar situation I too would jump at the chance to distance myself.. And to be able to just drive anywhere - having no disturbances and someone I trusted completely along for the ride - would definitely be a great way to process and heal.. (hide spoiler)]
I found the characters interesting and well developed, the MCs are likeable - loved the description of their personality traits.. (view spoiler)[ While being an odd character the policeman provides a great take on the siblings' relationship, thus adding to their characters.. (hide spoiler)]
A very enjoyable read...
